Janus Benefit Solutions was founded in 2012 by health care cost management veterans Tom Galas and Steve Wagoner.

Janus Benefit Solutions offers healthcare providers innovative services and products that offer both clinical and financial value.  Each of these services and products are mutually exclusive and enhance cash flow, increase operational efficiencies, and enhance the patient experience.

Steve Wagoner, CPA - Principal

Steve is the former CFO of NCN. Steve has spent more than 20 years in the financial management of HMOs, PPOs, and Third Party Administrators. Steve previously held positions with North Texas Healthcare Network, Harris Methodist Health System, Travelers Health Network and Aetna Health Plans.

Steve is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a BS in Business Administration. He is an active member of the Texas Society of CPAs, the AICPA and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Thomas E. Galas, FLMI, ALHC - Principal

Tom Galas is the founder and former CEO of NCN, a pioneer in health care pricing transparency, where he earned a patent for Data iSight. NCN was acquired by MultiPlan in 2011.

Tom has worked in the health insurance industry since the mid-1980's, having served as Assistant Vice President of Small Group Insurance for Central States Health & Life Co. of Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, and Vice President of Claims for Western Fidelity Insurance Company in Fort Worth, Texas. Tom was the architect of the Small Group Insurance Administration division at CSO, where he was responsible for building the Underwriting, Claims and Policy Owner Service departments from the ground up.

Tom holds a master's degree in Business Administration, along with industry designations of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Associate Life and Health Claims (ALHC).
